Governor Pat McCrory has signed HB 318

Immigration Activists and Concerned Citizens,

Governor Pat McCrory has signed HB 318, a bill to stop Sanctuary Cities who protect illegal alien criminals, disallow use of the Matricular Consular and other foreign consular cards for official state purposes, and somewhat tighten our existing state E-Verify law to protect jobs for citizens, not illegal alien immigrants.

First of all thank you for your support and help in our effort to pass immigration enforcement legislation in North Carolina.  NC LISTEN worked very hard at the NC General Assembly along with our friends at NC Fire to make this bill a reality.  Of course I have mentioned the bill sponsors and co-sponsors earlier, but I need to again thank the two key sponsors, Rep George Cleveland and Rep Chris Millis.  I also want to thank FAIR for helping us with action alert emails to their North Carolina members and their affiliate IRLI for reviewing the legislation before it was introduced, and a thank you to NumbersUSA for their numerous action email alerts to their members in North Carolina in support of this legislation.

We want to thank Governor McCrory for his support and for signing this bill into law.  The Republicans in the NC House and NC Senate are responsible for passing this legislation.  Unfortunately the Democrats in mass voted against HB 318.

Call Gov McCrory's office at 919-814-2050 and thank him for signing HB 318 or email him at:

  • Good news from North Carolina.

  • Here is a prime facilitator of illegal immigration.  This organization promotes sanctuary cities and id's for illegals.  We must do all we can to get in front of these NGO's.
