It seems that we have two standards in the Bergen County Republican Organization (BCRO). As you may or may not know, the County Political Organization determines which position a candidate gets on the primary ballot.
As we have multiple Republican candidate slates in the running for District 40 and District 39, the local Republican County Committee is called upon to determine the line position. At least that is how it has been done in the past. The Local District caucuses and determines whom they wish to represent them. The County Chairman usually goes along with what the Local District determines and awards the line accordingly.
This year the Republican County Chairman is running for District 40 Senate. So now, instead of just Local District 40 determining the outcome, he wants the entire Republican County Committee to determine who gets the line? Why is that you may ask? That is what we want to know!
